Dr. Ari Kalechstein is a successful Clinical Psychologist in Southern California. He graduated from Emory University in 1994 and completed an internship at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center, and concurrent fellowships at the UCLA David Geffen School of medicine.  Dr. Kalechstein’s educational background, together with his internship and fellowships, refined his knowledge of senior-related medical and mental health issues. Part of his practice includes the evaluation of elderly patients.  During his career, he has evaluated over 1,000 elderly clients in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and at his office. Moreover, as an Adjunct Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Kalechstein has published materials focusing on the issues of competency and geriatric addiction.
